Mumbai, Bengal, Karnataka Win

GUWAHATI, Nov 5: Mumbai, Bengal and Karnataka won their respective group 'B' matches in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket held in the city today. At the Nehru stadium Mumbai defeated Services by 17 runs. The other two games were held at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara. In the first game Karnataka won against Chhattisgarh by 4 wickets while Bengal beat Baroda by 2 runs in the second game.

Brief Scores: Karnataka vs Chhattisgarh: Chhattisgarh 145-5 (20 overs), Shashank Singh 52 (no), Herwadkar 32, KC Carippa 2-14, Gowtham 2-26. Karnataka 146-6 (19.3 overs), Padikkal 42, Sharath 42 no, S Singh 3-4, S Agarwal 2-34.

Bengal vs Baroda: Bengal-146-7 (20 overs), Abishek Das 35, Shahbaz 34, A Sheth 3-33, Baroda 144-6 (20 overs), K Pandya 57 no, Shahbaz 2-26.

Mumbai vs Services-Mumbai 154-7 (20 overs), Ajinkya Rahane 54, Shivam Dube 29, V Yadav 2-13, DG Pathania 2-34. Services 137-7 (20 overs), Rajat Paliwal 64, Tushar Deshpande 3-35, Mohit Avasthi 2-19.
